1. Computer Set Up--$120
If you purchase a computer and are unsure how to configure it, we will set
it up for you making sure it works properly. Also, if you’ve purchased a computer from Waldorf PC, we will not only
deliver your PC to your home or office, we’ll set it up and make sure it is fully functional.
A technical support
specialist will do the following:
• Stay as long as necessary to ensure your computer is set up and functioning
properly for optimal performance.
• Get you online if you desire.
2. Computer Security Services--$179
This
is necessary to maximize the performance of your PC and keep it safe from threats and attacks that lurk on the Internet.
A
technical support specialist will do the following:
• Personalize your computer according to your needs.
•
If you have windows Vista, we will configure the built in parental controls according to preference, and we’ll set up
individual user accounts by request.
• Install critical updates.
• Install vital protection and privacy
software to prevent you and your computer from being the next victims from spyware, malware, viruses, trogens, worms, and
other software that could compromise your security and performance. Such horrible software can also have a hand in stealing
your identity.
• Create a bootable CD in case of system ravage caused by harmful software.
• Install parental
control software should you request it.
• Remove unnecessary clutter from your computer, such as demo software,
and software that is not needed that comes preinstalled on your computer.
• Perform a disk cleanup and a disk defragmentation.
3. Advanced Diagnostics Testing and Repair--$200
This goes deeper than just a simple diagnostics test to see
what is causing the trouble. We actually do the repair plus optimize the performance of your PC. Not to mention, we get down
to the nitty gritty to ensure everything is performing better than before.
A technical support specialist will do
the following:
• Troubleshoot and find the reasons for computer crashes, lockups, slowness, or Internet problems.
• Give you an estimate for additional hardware repairs that may be needed if they are needed.
• Install
registry cleaner and show you how to use it.
• Clean your system registry and explain the benefits of doing so.
• Repair any issues concerning your operating system.
• Explain preventative measures you can take to
ensure your computer stays safe.
• Remove all viruses, spyware, trogens, worms, malware, or any other harmful software
from your computer.
• Install critical updates.
• Optimize your computer so that it works faster and better.
• Make sure your computer is working as it should.
4. Diagnostics--$50
This is just for us to look
at your system and tell you what the problem is. We will do the following;
• Advise you of what the problems
are.
• Give you estimates on repairs that are needed.
• Advise you on how to best handle the situation.
5. Operating System Install or Hard Drive Reformatting—$70
This is for us to install an operating system
on your machine, such as Windows 98, XP, 2000, ME, or Vista to name a few. This service also includes reformatting of your
hard drive, which means a fresh reinstallation of your operating system to start over new, if this is needed.
Please
be advised that if you do not have your Operating system CD that has come with your computer, a bootable CD with the operating
system that is compatible with your system’s product key is available for a purchase of $20.
6. Hardware Install—$30
per part
We will install any internal or external hardware you need, as well as any software that goes with it. Hardware
is not included. Either you already have it: or, it must be purchased additionally.
7. Wipe that Computer Clean--$50
Using Drive Erase Pro, we will wipe out any confidential information from your hard drive should you even think of
selling or donating your computer.
8. Optimize Computer Usability--$100
This service is for the blind or physically
handicap to ensure that the computer is user friendly. This service includes;
• Installing screen magnification
software if needed.
• Installing Text to speech software if necessary, such as Jaws, Window Eyes, or NVDA.
•
Installing dictation software, such as Dragon Naturally Speaking.
• Making sure everything is fully functional.
• Set screen resolution for the visually impaired persons or for those suffering from seizures.
• Install
hardware, such as modified computer mice, keyboards, or touch pads, for easy usability for those who are physically handicap.
The hardware and software is not included in this service. You must already have it or purchase it separately.
9.
Software Troubleshooting Services--$100
A technical specialist will do the following;
• Find out why
software is not working properly.
• Fix the issues to ensure the software works.
10 Software instillation
Services--$30 per each piece of software installed.
We will install any software you have and configure it to work
as it should. We can even fix it to your preference—depending on the software type. Software is not included in this
service, you must already have it. This service also does not include operating system install.
Assistive Technology Consulting Services--$80 per hour on site and $70 per hour over the phone
• Discuss cost effective option for providing your facility with accessible equipment.
In such consultations, a demonstration of all technology is included.
If you are just wanting a demonstration of how the technology works, it is no cost to you.
